Summary f8 is technology consulting firm looking for a full-time project manager to coordinate workload and manage tasks and projects from start to completion for a team of 5-6 network engineers supporting clients in the us. Typical work hours from 9am-6pm est. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and verbal communications skills, project management skills, basic understanding of networking concepts, superior customer service skills and a passion for using computing devices and automation to help our clients succeed in their missions. The primary responsibilities of this position are coordination and communication. You need to have an innate ability to anticipate needs and actions of both clients and internal team. First you will be responsible for coordinating various parts of an opportunity from start to finish. Use your precise attention to detail to work side-by-side with engineers to ensure that project run as smoothly as possible for them and the client. This includes daily interactions with vendors to negotiate pricing, confirm shipment details and research product information as needed. In addition, this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to draft client communications, like project timelines, emergency alerts about technology threats, prepare reports and assist in product research as needed.
